Composite bonding can be used to rebuild or restore teeth that have suffered light damage, or improve the appearance of discoloured or misshapen teeth. Composite is a dental resin, able to perfectly mimic tooth enamel and be colour-matched to your natural tooth colour to slot seamlessly into your smile.

Bonding is a minimally invasive treatment, as it can be built directly onto the tooth with no need to remove a layer of enamel. Once the composite has been given a final polish and shine, it looks just like a natural tooth.

Why choose composite bonding?

Bonding is a quick and aesthetic treatment, needing only one appointment in the practice. We don’t need to take any impressions or have anything made in a lab and the treatment is pain-free and cost effective. Composite is easy to repair should it get damaged, much more so than other cosmetic dental restorative treatments.

Looking after your tooth

Composite is not affected by bacteria and decay, but the natural tooth underneath is. Maintaining an excellent oral hygiene routine at home, including regular brushing and flossing, will ensure your bonded tooth lasts as long as possible. Your dentist will also keep an eye on it at your regular check up appointments.
